The service concept focuses on the loss detection and loss estimation in forest areas after storm events or forest fires. The targeted user communities are insurance companies working in thematic domains that are appropriate for satellite-based claim assessment. The space assets used in the project are earth observation and satellite navigation (GNSS).

Between 2014 and 2018, over 1000 pirate attacks and armed robberies targeting ships were reported. ESA-backed PROTECT aims to exploit space- based assets to provide cost-effective services that improve situational awareness of both on board and shore-based stakeholders.
Integrated Web-Based Service for Forestry
The design and implementation of the IWBSF service offers its users a reach access to analytic tools, processed and gathered information leveraged from EO and GNSS assets. Developed services provide forestry employees with the ability to make advanced analysis and download essential forestry analysis information in order to support required tasks for effective forest management. The target users are part of the Poland State Forests agency.
Unmanned Parcel Delivery
The RPAS UPD project aims to utilise RPAS technology to provide a high-performing unmanned delivery solution for customers in remote locations. The target market for the RPAS UPD service lies in three main sectors: Regular express parcel delivery; High-value asset delivery; Emergency/urgent needs supply to disaster areas. Satellite and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) communications are indispensable to the success of the project.

Preparing Polish Insurance Industry for the South-North Transportation Axis (Heavy Duty Vehicles)
Using EO data, GNSS and satellite communications, the INSUTRAX project will study how information coming from satellite assets can be utilized for the monitoring of cargo transports across the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor, in order to increase their safety and at the same time decrease the risk of damages. INSUTRAX will concentrate on Polish users as they travel across the South-North Transportation Axis across Central Europe.
