One-way Internet over satellite gateway
The objective of the project was to develop Forsway’s one-way Internet over satellite gateway, Mímir, into a carrier grade solution for operators of all sized. Mímir is a one-way Internet over satellite gateway. It integrates a performance enhancing proxy, user management and authentication, transponder load balancing etc. This project will enable the possibility for really large deployments of one-way Internet over satellite services with a potential to reach new markets.

Easy And Safe Yachting – Demonstration Project
The objective of EASY Demonstration Project is to develop a demonstrator of “one-stop-shop” services for the high-value leisure yachting market mainly for the Mediterranean Sea, integrating various space assets (Satellite Communications and Satellite Navigation). The integrated system will provide enhanced services to make yachting more reliable, safe and “easy”, thereby attracting a wider spectrum of potential users.

Urban Forest Monitoring Platform
This study assesses the practicalities of collecting improved urban forestry data through the integration of EO satellite imagery and GNSS as well as crowdsourcing and Open Data. New Commons service targets the collection and analysis of urban forestry data for those organisations charged with the management of that resource while also performing an important public awareness and outreach function. This includes academic researchers, arborists, municipal authorities and NGO's.
Space-enabled wind installation site screening
Due to the fact that the onshore wind market should grow strongly over the coming 10 years, and that developers looking to profit from this will need to increase automation so that they can increase their project throughput, SEWISS study aims to reduce time to market and make better site selection/ site purchase decisions thorugh space enabed wind installation site screening. To develop and deliver this service/system, SEWISS must have access to two space assets, earth observation data and satellite navigation (GPS).
