Sensor Information for Pest Control

The objective of SiPeCon is to offer sensor information for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services as a business service. SiPeCon primary clients are crop protection agents while the end-users are farmers . The end-users' need is incresed pest control. Sipecon offers information services based on a fully operational GNSS/SATCOM sensor information supply chain to support crop protection agents and their clients.

Geospatial Framework as a Service for Agriculture

The main objective of GFaaS is ensuring painless access to satellite imagery derived information for farmers. GFaaS intends to address this issue by providing a framework platform that brings all the key players necessary for providing EO-based, easy-to-use farming solutions to farmers. Working with EO and GNSS enables covering entire fields at once, which is an important factor in terms of time- and cost-efficiency, and thus in scalability.

In 2018, over two million tonnes of waste were generated by all economic activities and households in the EU. The ESA-backed Waste-IAP project uses EO data and GNSS technology to identify and monitor legal and illegal waste sites and track high value waste transportation, enhancing waste management.
