The Verified Life Story project delivers proof to retail clients of the life story including origin, feed and medications (if any) consumed of the pig meat that they sell. The location data of pig ear tags can be verified using a blockchain and the data is
made accessible to the end consumers via QR codes on the packaging. The system is piloted on a farm in the East coast of Ireland.
