Development of online hands-on workshops in the fields of Earth observation, space life sciences and astronomy. The workshops provide an opportunity for students to gain experience in practical work using Earth observation data to analyse disaster scenarios (such as flooding and fires) and the impact of climate change in specific areas of interest. Other workshops focus on in-space mission analysis and research: for the life sciences field, the workshops provide an opportunity to analyse molecular biological data in support of long duration space missions, while the astronomy workshops focus on the analysis of data from Gaia and Euclid missions. The
workshops target both students at Master’s level and professionals going through short development programmes.
