The SatSource service enables financial institutions to engage with (potential) portfolio companies to push for environmental risk mitigation measures. The environmental risks are identified and closely monitored in near real-time with satellite imagery. The following risks are identified in the company based risk report: deforestation risk (looking at forest loss, transparency, certification), fire risk, and biodiversity risk (to be developed).

Target:

12.6 Encourage companies, especially large and transnational companies, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle
