Lifesaving Location Service (LifeLoS) is a new operational service that can be used by any hospital, nursing home, or home care service to track and trace ‘free-to-move’ patients and other relevant people in indoor and outdoor spaces. The service combines wearable devices, mobile devices, or sensors with outdoor and indoor geolocation capabilities. The main objectives of the LifeLoS activity are to develop and integrate the system, to install the indoor hardware, and test the communication protocols. This is followed by a pilot trial with validation by pilot users.
