The CRISP initiative aims to scale up advanced and cost-effective Earth Observation (EO) solutions to provide consistent, timely, and reliable information on seasonal rice planted area, growing conditions, yield forecasts, and production at harvest. This information is essential for enabling data-driven, sustainable agricultural policy-making.
To ensure the solution is fit-for-purpose, a user-oriented approach is central to the project’s methodology. CRISP engages directly with stakeholders and end-users to adapt the system to their operational needs and decision-making processes.
