Services enabled by HAPS (High Altitude Pseudo Satellites) complemented by satellites

The TAS project aims at using services enabled by HAPS as a complementary mean to the satellite data in order to help European, national, or regional institutional agencies in the border surveillance and emergency activities such as maritime search and rescue, fight against illegal activities, industrial site monitoring, crisis management and disaster relief. Main users are defence ministries, public authorities and industrial companies. The HAPS dirigible allow to fill the gap between satellites and UAV/Aircraft thanks to: high endurance for a mission, both satellite-like and UAV-like services, multimission, continuous coverage, and large payload and ability to remain geostationary.
