Space-related service for urban area evolution measurement

The Urban Space Series service aims at providing a uniform measurement of urban area evolution of cities from all around the world. Particularly, it aims at enabling to measure the evolution of the shape and the size of urban areas from satellite images. It enables users to have access to standardized analytics across the world and comparable between countries and to measure the economic growth of a region or a country. It can also assess the relationship between city growth, economic development and climate change, and in particular the role of the city topology on carbon emissions. Main users are sovereign wealth funds, central banks, macro investment firms, large asset managers or strategic department of corporate groups who are interested in the knowledge of the urban development and therefore by getting a uniform measurement of urban area evolution of cities from all around the world.
