NHS Medical Drone Logistics Programme

The Dreadnought project is dedicated to create an NHS (National Health Service) Air Grid (NAG) consisting of a network of air corridors designed to safely, rapidly and effectively enable drone delivery across the NHS. As part of the project, a NHS Drone API is developed, allowing the seamless integration of NHS, drone industry and regulators to perform scheduling and tracking of deliveries. In addition, the solution offered by Dreadnought allows the direct contracting of NHS certified drone operators, matching delivery requests to available medical lab and drone capacity, managing risk while ensuring regulatory and NHS compliance. While the NAG creates the architecture for drone delivery on a macro scale, the NHS Drone API allows it to operate on the micro scale. Both of these solutions are critical to enabling medical drone delivery for the NHS.
