Oil Trading Analytics Monitoring

The OTAM project proposes an oil market data analysis solution in form of a SaaS platform and aims at creating more efficency and transparency in an otherwise opaque oil storage and shipping market. The use of SAR based Sat-EO data forms a new dataset which can significantly enhance the existing oil analytics process, offering near real time measurements and leading to better decision making. The OTAM product mainly targets the global oil sector such as oil producers, oil traders and oil analysts. The fusion of the Sat-EO data with automatic identification system (AIS) based cargo tracking data enables to estimate the crude oil stock variation and allows for higher contextualisation into the existing workflows of the oil industry. The space-based services help monitoring the full cycle of the oil supply chain and offer actionable insights to oil traders.
