Monitoring from Space for Critical Infrastructure

The MoSCI - ECOSPACE product is a service for storage, processing, visualisation and analysis of Earth and airborne observation datasets. It aims at delivering meaningful information for overseeing and managing risks to critical infrastructure (CI) in coastal and riverine settlements. The service targets in priority the public water authorities responsible for managing coastal and riverine areas and resources; the utilities, contractors and engineering consultants; and the international financial institutions and insurance brokers. The service combines several space assets such as the use of Sentinel-1 and RadarSAT, the use of Galileo combined with drones, and the use of land cover maps derived from Sentinel-2. They provide useful information about coastal and riverine settlements and enable risk assessment and management of those settlements.
