Greenhouse Early Warning Service
Space-related services for risk mitigation and prevention in the greenhouse industry
The Greenhouse Early Warning Service (EWS) is based on the application of Earth Observation data for risk mitigation and prevention in the greenhouse industry, specifically related to non-insurable risks. Main users are greenhouse owners that are facing several challenges such as subsidence, algae blooming in the water basin and energy leaks. The service aims at preventing and mitigating those non-insurable risks. It uses space-based technologies notably Earth observation satellites that allow to monitor large areas over time and create continuous stream of information in order to detect issues which can cause potential damage to greenhouse owners business.
