Greenhouse Early Warning Service

The Greenhouse Early Warning Service is based on the application of space data for risk mitigation and damage prevention for greenhouse owners to ensure continuity of their business.The project aims to develop and demonstrate monitoring services to support greenhouse owners to mitigate their business risks, starting with two dedicated service modules, i.e. a) a service to monitor and validate greenhouse energy leaks and temperature distribution and b) a service to monitor greenhouse ground stability and deformation/ subsidence. GEWS utilizes Earth observation satellites (specifically optical and SAR imagery) allowing for large-area monitoring over time.
