Advanced Multimedia and Observation services for the Rome cultural heritage ecosystem

The AMOR Project aims at developing sustainable services for the safeguarding and fruition of Cultural Heritage placed in rich and dense historical city centres affected by a significant anthropic pressure, especially represented by huge visitor flows. The service will allow the Cultural Heritage entities inter alia to identify and map critical developments, assess the site's state of conservation or to anonimously track visitors. The solution will be realized through integration of Satellite Earth Observation data with multi-spectral data collected via UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and GPT (Ground Penetrating Radar). 5G communication services and Virtual Reality devices (such as Oculus Quest) are also elements of the end-to-end system.
