A “rapid update” interactive, spatially accurate Lyme Borreliosis identification and risk management system

LymeApp project aims at developing and demonstrating LymeApp system, an interactive data gathering, synthesis, analysis and interrogative map generating system that incorporates quality assured advice from national public health authorities for the better management of Lyme Borreliosis and the prevention of tick bites. LymeApp obtains data (including EO satellite data, GPS data, Lyme data from Scottish National Lyme Borreliosis Testing Lab, data from General Practitioners, and from end-users), then uses spatial modelling techniques to produce maps of Lyme risk and vector distributions.
