An Early diAgnosis Real-Time Healthcare System for CANcer

A Real-Time Healthcare System (RTHS) for detecting and diagnosing polyps during colonoscopy based on the use of Artificial Intelligence / neural networks to scan the colonoscopy video images and detect/diagnose cancer. The detection/diagnosis needs to be made in real-time during the procedure. This is fundamentally different from diagnosis such as mammography or pillcam that can be made offline, in the days or weeks following a scan. Satcom is a vital part of the solution as it makes the system scalable and able to be deployed anywhere. This means that a consistent standard of care can be achieved around the world, independent of the current hospital IT facilities.
