Weather prediction systems rely on the provision of worldwide heterogeneous observations of the troposphere to perform accurate nowcasting and forecasting of the state of the lower atmosphere. This activity aims at analysing continuous monitoring of weather related parameters by using GNSS receivers on e.g. ships, smartphones.
