Sat-PDT demo project aims to develop a tele-medicine application, based on the exploitation of the satellite-based data. This enables the treatment of the Actinic Keratosis (AK) through the daylight Photodynamic Therapy. The system calculates the daylight irradiance, on the bases of the EO data, to provide planning, forecasting and monitoring capability of the medical daylight dosimetry. The targeted market segments are represented by hospital and bio-drug producers, respectively interested in the use of the system, for treating AK affected clinical patients, and lighter forms of disease for selfpreventive purposes.
