Certifiable Railway Trackworker Individual Protection Demonstration

Using a combination of GNSS, multi-sensor fusion, Earth observation and machine learning techniques alongside the "TrainCAS" (Collision Avoidance System) solution embedded into a "Track Worker Protection App", this system will provide an advanced warning system through acoustic, visual and haptic means of any approaching train in different stages depending on the level of criticality. This service will be provided to railway track workers and other railway staff in order to reduce the number of casualties and injuries related to track undertakings.
