Feasibility Study on joint EO and crowdsourced bathymetry

Large areas of our seas and oceans are inadequately surveyed. EO Crowd is a data portal combining crowd sourced bathymetry, the various types of satellite bathymetry, and Open Data, to be able to service customers with data to suit their requirements in a cost effective manner. Key user groups are: Commercial and government nautical chart publishers; Commercial and leisure mariners; Port, harbour and marina operators; Government bodies and others responsible for the coastal infrastructure; Security and defence; Fishermen and fisheries management; Oceanographers, ecologists and scientists; Offshore oil, gas and renewables.
