The PLIMM project develops a set of ground and structural motion monitoring services using both space and terrestrial technologies in order to offer both wide area and site specific analysis. It allows target users at both the strategic level and site level to obtain the information most pertinent to them. The PLIMM service provides infrastructural asset owners/managers with a better understanding of their asset and how the wider environment affects them. It targets several industrial sectors such as the transportation, construction, historic buildings and ancient monument monitoring and service industry asset monitoring sectors. It uses several space assets such as Earth observation data, GNSS data and satellite communications in order to provide coherent information on a large scale.
