Live data for outdoor adventures planning and living

The FATMAP Live service aims to provide live information to allow the planning and the living of outdoor adventures in the best possible manner. When planning the adventure, it allows to ensure that terrain and foreseeable conditions are adequate for the planned adventure and the skill level of the group. During the adventure, it enables to be equipped correctly and enjoy a great and safe adventure. Main users are outdoor enthusiasts that are planning to live an outdoor experience. The service uses several space assets such as navigation satellites (Galileo), weather and observation satellites, and Earth observation satellites. These assets allow to provide weather data and to produce digital terrain and surface models.
