At SkyWatch, we believe Earth observation should be simple for everyone to use. Our  existing products aggregate the world's EO data and remove the undifferentiated heavy lifting  that many organizations must endure.
Today, many large organizations and government agencies struggle with their Earth  observation data management. There are redundant purchases, a lack of sharing, many  manual processing steps, and a huge amount of waste. This problem transcends almost  every industry, including agriculture, smart cities, situational awareness, infrastructure, water  management, climate change research, and more.
Through the Canadian Space Agency's (CSA) smartEarth program, SkyWatch proposes to  develop a state of the art cloud-enabled cataloging, ordering, searching, processing,  distribution and collaboration platform for EO data, catering to the unique needs of large  organizations and governments. We propose enabling massive efficiencies by centralizing  ordering, orchestrating data distribution, and enabling secure collaboration to obtain RCM  and other commercial data sources.
The SkyWatch team will be guided by the expert remote sensing communities and large  organizations who make significant use of Earth observation data. This invaluable input to  requirements analysis and testing of the system will help us to develop a solution which will  better serve organizations and government users in Canada and throughout the world.
